The plot takes place is dystopian America while the flashbacks are inspired from all the classic fairytales with a twist .

And in addition , there are magic castles , treasures , curses , 9 types of magic systems and everything!!

The family system is based on Filipino culture which gives family a great importance and thereby gives a lot of space for kick-ass grandmas , uncles , aunts.

So , this is one of those books where we say , NO ONE IS STRAIGHT UNTIL SAID SO. Every character has tough decisions all along the way and it makes a lot of sense.

Dialogues

All the MCs are around 17-18 so there is a lot of fun even with the world freezing situation. The boys are just so fun!!
