Hey guys , welcome back to my blog. I was sort of busy with attending a family function and couldn’t post lately. So here i am.
This year has been a wonderful year for me. With some different experiences. Lemme give you a glimpse.
Worst New Year :
But the start was rough though. I had a convention on 31st December and an early morning class on 1st January .. so i had to celebrate new years in my hostel alone and sleeping.
Best summer
I joined book twitter in late march . And became a part of harry potter fandom in twitter. That’s where my life had a jumpstart. I learnt a lot from other people and my friendslist had grown ever since.
Best year on reading
I had many awesome recommendations from my friends. I read divergent , Percy Jackson , Heroes of Olympus , the fault in our stars and many more this year out and out of recommendations. I suck at picking books for myself. I have finished 43 books this year so far.
Best Read
Ok , this might not be surprising. The best read this year is Percy Jackson and the lightning thief ( Sorry , fault in our stars) . The second series books I read after Harry potter.
I watched the lightning thief movie first (still regretting) and actually thought if i should read sea of monsters. But my wise friend asked me to read the first one and I realised my mistake in the second line of the book.
Worst read
I gave this a lot of thought and choosing ” The Hidden Oracle ” from Trials of Apollo by Rick Riordan. I started this book asap finishing The Blood of Olympus . And some of you know how much I hated this book. It was so chatty and dragging at the starting. But I did finish and reading The Burning Maze right now. The next two books are awesome .

Congrats on reading so many books already this year!! I’ve never read your best or worst, but my personal best would have to be Illuminae by Amie Kaufmann and Jay Kristoff, and my worst would have to be The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami – it was just so boring!

Thank you Olivia. Illuminae is in my tbr. And I’ve never heard of bird chronicles.. but you might try percy jackson series. Its so amazing.

I hope you enjoy illuminae when you get round to reading it! Percy Jackson has been on my tbr for years so hopefully one day I’ll read it!!

I will be waiting for your review and thoughts on percy jackson. Its a mindblowing series by the sassiest awesomest author ever ( excuse me for my grammar and english it goes wrong with fangirling)

I still haven’t read any of the Percy Jackson books! I saw the movie before I even knew it was a book series and it broke my heart. I always read the book first!

My best read this year was Heroes of Olympus : The House of Hades (😭😭)
The worst was A wrinkle in Time . This is the first book of the 8 book Time Quintet series. The plot development isn’t much awesome , but there are 7 more books in the series and I am planning to give it a go. But before that I have 8 more book series to read ( It’s always the never ending evil tbr😵)
